On June 13, American aerospace and defense technology company AIRO Group successfully went public on the New York Stock Exchange, with its stock price soaring 140% on the first day, surging nearly threefold at one point during trading, with market capitalization approaching $1 billion at its peak. Trading was halted multiple times due to circuit breakers, ultimately closing at $24 per share, making it the third new stock this month to double in price on its debut day.
The IPO raised $60 million, with an offering price set at $10 per share, below the originally expected range of $14-16 per share. However, this did not dampen market enthusiasm; instead, due to oversubscription, the offering was completed in just one day, with the planned issuance scale increased from the original plan to 6 million shares.
